ACT PROGRAM 2002-03 TEST DATES & REGISTRATION DEADLINES

All ACT test dates are on a Saturday. In New York State, a February test is not scheduled. The ACT can be given on the Sunday following the Saturday test date, but only for those who could not take the ACT on Saturday for religious reasons.

Fees
The ACT registration fee for 2002-03 is $19.00 and $22.00 in the states of New York and Florida. The late registration fee is $20.00. Additional score reports may be ordered for a fee of $7.00 for regular delivery or for a fee of $10.00 for priority delivery. In addition, ACT provides a Telephone Express service for a $15.00 fee.
Waivers
Fee waivers are available for students unable to afford the cost of this test.

PLAN PROGRAM

The preliminary test to the ACT is called the PLAN test. It is a warm-up test for the ACT and is offered early in the sophomore year. Call or write for registration information using the phone number and address provided above.

These tests fall on a Saturday and the test can be given on the following Sunday for students with religious reasons.

SAT Test Fees-
The basic fee for the SAT I Reasoning Test is $21.50. SAT II fees include the a $13.00 Basic Registration Fee plus various charges for other Subject Area Tests. These include;
  • a $10.00 fee for the Writing Subject Area Test
  • a $7.00 fee for Language Listening Subject Area Tests
  • a $7.00 fee for the ELPT Subject Area Test
  • a $5.00 fee for each of the other Subject Area Tests.
  • Waivers
    Fee waivers are available for junior and seniors students who are unable to afford the cost of taking these tests.

    $1.00 Surcharge on test fees to test in New York state.
    $10.00 International processing fee (includes Mexico and Canada)
    $10.00 Reregistration by telephone.
    $15.00 Late registration fee (in addition to total test fees)
    $30.00 Standby fee (in addition to total test fees).
    $15.00 Test, test date, or test center change fee.
    $6.50 Each score report to a college or scholarship program, beyond the four originally requested.
    $10.00 Additional fee to report archived score reports.
    $20.00 Telephone Rush Reporting Service
    $7.00 Additional reports by telephone.
    $10.00 SAT I Question and Answer Service.
    $10.00 Writing Sample Copy Service
    $20.00 Check returned for insufficient funds fee.

    PSAT PROGRAM

    The PSAT test is a "warm-up" test for the SAT I. It is given only twice a year -- (usually) on the third Saturday and the fourth Tuesday of October. At most schools, information about the test will be distributed in the form of the PSAT Student Bulletin. Students are asked to register for that school's test day (Saturday or Tuesday). Check with your local school district for precise dates. The PSAT is usually taken in the fall of the sophomore and junior years.
